Happy New Week all!! We thank God for another week and his mercy upon our lives. This Sunday’s preacher, all the way from Ghana, was Senior Apostle Michael Awotwi! We thank God for your life papa for all your sacrifice and may he replenish all your recourses.
This sermon was boiled to 4 big revelations. Our main scripture was John chapter 2:1-12 where Jesus is at the wedding in Cana. Apostle started off with highlighting verse 3 speaking on how the wine at the wedding had run out. It is easy to walk over this simple detail but the Apostle showed us how profound it was. This emptiness symbolized reproach and embarrassment for the couple. When Jesus had made the new wine he also rolled away any stone of shame in their lives which is the same he does for us. Moving from the newlyweds, Apostle also places emphasis on the guests of the wedding. Many people came empty handed with no expectation but leaving an ordinary wedding. These are the same people who left with jugs and vases overflowing with wine because Jesus had made it in abundance. That same spirit of abundance is applied to our lives and we shall never lack. The 3rd revelation defied rules of physics and science to do God’s will. Nowhere did he have the supplies to process the grapes for wine or the time for fermentation.
This did not stop Master Jesus as he created something out of a void. Apostle reminds us God is able to break the Protocol for things to work in our favor. Lastly, you and I both know, the wine made by Jesus probably had a “heavenly” taste to it. See what I did there?😉 Anywhere that we allow God to step into will become the best and exceed human understanding. That is what our God can do. Apostle encourages us that “Our best is yet to be seen” so let us keep casting our cares to the king.
