Sermon – Our year of Supernatural occurrences
One of the Supernatural occurrences happens when God has power over all creation that demonstrates his authority over. These occurrences that the impossible becomes possible through faith which connects us to his limitless power reigning supreme over life, death and nature with his divine intervention to declare his sovereignty over all things.
His power to protect His people in the face of the most impossible and life-threatening of any circumstances that God uses to strengthen our faith to those who trust Him. This event declares God’s ultimate authority: no earthly power, no decree, and no danger can overpower His will. It reminds believers that God is not only capable of saving but also walking with us through trials, making His presence known.
God will also make a way in difficult situations where Peter was faced with adversity when he was imprisoned by king Herod. However the prayers of the church can alter circumstances freeing Peter from his chains and an angel led him out of the prison in safety that the power of prayer combined with faith can change any outcome.
God can also heal sicknesses and diseases.
• God shows compassion and his ultimate power to provide healing and restoration to those in need in which Jesus was able to heal a demon possessed man and people who were paralyzed.
• God also demonstrates his power over all creation in life or death that Jesus was able to raise Lazarus from the dead.
• God can also show signs that he is the true and living God through supernatural acts in which God protected Daniel from the lion’s den where God shut the lion’s mouths.
• God shows mercy, love and compassion also through supernatural acts Jesus feeds over the five thousand with five loaves of bread and two fish that God expresses his deep concern for humanity.
• God also shows compassion for the blind and demon possessed through immediate needs to give freedom and restoration to those as his ultimate plan for humanity.
